Arrival
Calculations use the device IANA time zone data and the browser Intl API, with daylight saving applied automatically. Boarding cut-off, layover, and in-airport transfer times are not included, so confirm your ticket and airport guidance.

Read the local arrival time by adding flight time to your departure
When you travel abroad, the confusing part is: if I leave at this time here, what time is it there when I land. This screen splits that clearly. Enter the departure and arrival airports, the departure time, and the flight duration on the left, and the local arrival time, time difference, and date change line up on the right.
Every calculation uses the browser IANA time zone data, so daylight saving and 30/45-minute offsets are applied automatically. No install or sign-in is needed.
Set the departure airport and time
Type a city or IATA code in the departure search box or pick it from the list, then set the departure date and time. Use the Now button to fill the current time.
- Search: a code like ICN/JFK or a city name
- List: pick an airport by region
- Now button fills the current departure time
Flight time and arrival
Enter the flight duration in hours and minutes; it is added to the departure time and converted with the arrival airport UTC offset to show the local arrival time. Values update without a calculate button.
- Departure local to UTC to arrival local
- Any change recalculates instantly
- Swap route to check the return leg
Read time difference, date change, and shift
The result cards show the offset between the two airports, whether the arrival date moves to the previous or next day, and the perceived shift that adds flight time and the offset.
- Time difference: hours the arrival airport is ahead or behind
- Date change: +1 day, -1 day, or same day
- Perceived shift: forward or back on the wall clock
Daylight saving and what to check
Regions such as the US, Europe, and Australia change their UTC offset by date. The tool applies daylight saving for the selected date automatically, but boarding cut-off, transfers, and airport transit time are not included, so check your ticket too.
- Daylight saving auto-applied for the chosen date
- Boarding, baggage, and immigration times excluded
- Split connecting flights leg by leg
Airport time difference and flight time FAQ
Can I calculate with just the IATA code?
Yes. Type a three-letter code like ICN, JFK, or LAX, or a city name, in the search box and the airport is selected. You can also pick it from the regional list.
Is daylight saving (DST) handled automatically?
Yes. The tool uses the browser Intl time zone feature to find the real offset for the departure date. New York is UTC-4 in summer and UTC-5 in winter, and 30/45-minute offsets like India (+5:30) or Nepal (+5:45) are handled too.
Why does the arrival date show the previous or next day?
After adding the flight time and the offset difference, the local arrival date can fall one day ahead (+1) or behind (-1) the departure date. Long-haul routes often cross the date line.
What does perceived shift mean?
It combines flight time and the offset difference to show how far the arrival clock moves forward or back from the departure wall clock, which helps gauge the time travel you feel.
Does it include connections or real delays?
No. Real delays, gate changes, and layover waits are not looked up. Calculate each leg separately or add the full travel time as the flight duration, then confirm the times on your ticket.
