How relationship days and milestones are counted
This calculator counts from a relationship start date to today with the start date as day 1. Starting on January 1, 2026, September 24, 2026 is day 267, day 100 is Friday, April 10, 2026 and day 1000 is Tuesday, September 26, 2028.
The first result keeps the day 100 date, weekday and countdown visible even after that day passes. It also shows how long you have been together, the nearest milestone, and a table from day 100 to day 3000 and years 1 to 10 with weekdays. Korean-style 100-day milestones are one optional lens, not a universal rule.
The count is inclusive
The first date is day 1. That makes a 100-day milestone land 99 days after the start date.
- Same start date and today means day 1
- Future milestones show how many days are left
- Past milestones show how many days ago
Time together in years, months and weeks
A big day count alone is hard to picture, so “Time together” in the result area shows the years, months and days plus the total number of weeks.
- Reads like “Ny Mmo Dd · Wwk”
- Years and months use calendar math; weeks use total elapsed days
- The copy button includes time together too
Key milestones at a glance
The table lists days 100, 200, 300, 500, 1000, 2000 and 3000 plus years 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10 with weekdays, no matter how far away they are. Past milestones are dimmed and the next one is highlighted.
- Weekdays show at once whether a date is a weekend
- The status column counts from today
- Reaches further than the near-term strip and list
Any day number, or the day number of any date
For a number that is not in the table, such as day 1234, type it into “Date of day N”. To see which day a birthday or trip will be, pick it in “Day number of a date”. Started on February 14, 2024? Day 1000 is Monday, November 9, 2026.
Day 365 is not the first anniversary
The first anniversary falls on the same date a year later, so with the start date counted as day 1 it is day 366, or day 367 when February 29 falls in between.
- Start January 1, 2026: day 365 is Thursday, December 31, 2026
- First anniversary: Friday, January 1, 2027 = day 366
100-day milestones are optional
They are familiar in Korean dating culture, but they are not presented as a universal relationship standard.
Month and year anniversaries use calendar math
A monthly anniversary adds calendar months. A yearly anniversary adds calendar years, not a fixed number of days.
Leap-day behavior is explicit
If February 29 cannot exist in a target year, the anniversary is shown on February 28.
Saving milestones to a calendar
“Save to calendar (.ics)” creates a file with the upcoming milestones from the table as all-day events. Import it into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook and set reminders there.
Date events are secondary
Valentine’s Day, Christmas and New Year are optional date markers. They do not replace a couple’s own anniversaries.
What this does not decide
The tool does not handle time of day, legal deadlines, booking cutoffs, or religious or local calendar systems.
Couple anniversary FAQ
Does the calculator include the start date?
Yes. The relationship start date is day 1, so the same start date and today produce day 1, and day 100 falls 99 days after the start date.
Do I need to press a calculate button?
No. The result updates as soon as you pick a start date, and it refreshes instantly when you switch view modes.
Can I see the time together in years and months?
Yes. In the result area, “Time together” shows the years, months and days plus the total number of weeks. From January 1, 2026 to September 24, 2026 it is day 267: 8 months 23 days, 38 weeks.
When is our day 1000?
Add 999 days to the start date. If you started on February 14, 2024, day 1000 is Monday, November 9, 2026. The key milestones table shows every milestone up to day 3000 and year 10, and “Date of day N” works for any other number.
Is day 365 our first anniversary?
No. The first anniversary is the same date a year later, which is day 366 with the start date counted as day 1, or day 367 when February 29 falls in between. Starting January 1, 2026, day 365 is Thursday, December 31, 2026 and the first anniversary is Friday, January 1, 2027.
Are 100-day anniversaries universal?
No. They are common in Korean dating culture, but this calculator shows them as optional milestones alongside monthly and yearly anniversaries.
How are month ends and February 29 handled?
The tool adds calendar months or years and moves impossible dates to the last valid day of that month. A February 29, 2024 start has its first anniversary on Friday, February 28, 2025 and its fourth on Tuesday, February 29, 2028.
Can I add the milestones to my phone calendar?
“Save to calendar (.ics)” downloads a file with the upcoming milestones from the table as all-day events. Import it into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook, then set reminders there.
Can I check which day a specific date will be?
Use “Day number of a date”. With a January 1, 2026 start, Christmas Day 2026 is day 359. Clicking a date in the calendar fills in the same field.
Can I use this for legal or booking deadlines?
No. It is a date-only relationship planning tool. Use official terms for contracts, travel and reservations.
The calculation uses Gregorian calendar date arithmetic and inclusive start-day counting. Calendar files follow the iCalendar format.
