Ads on ROBERIN: why they are here and how they are kept out of the way

ROBERIN tool pages and news pages show ads served through Google AdSense. Keeping every tool usable with no sign-up, no payment, and no daily limit still means paying for a server, a domain, and storage every month, and ad revenue covers that. Ad slots keep being adjusted so they stay away from the input fields and the result area, and this note also explains how to turn personalized ads off.

Ads appear next to the tools

ROBERIN tool pages and news pages carry ads served through Google AdSense. There are slots above the tool, below the result card, and between sections of an article.

ROBERIN does not pick the ads. Google decides what is shown; ROBERIN only decides where an ad may sit. That is why the same page can show a different ad to a different person, or at a different time of day.

Free tools still cost something to run

The idea was a site where a tool works the moment the page opens: no install, no account, no daily limit. That part is not going to change.

A server, a domain, and storage are still paid for every month. Ad revenue covers that bill, and that is what keeps the tools free.

There is no paid plan that removes the ads. Charging for a single calculation is not a direction I want to take.

Ad placement keeps getting trimmed

An ad should never stand between you and your result. The space between the input fields and the result card stays empty, and nothing is inserted in the middle of reading a result.

Ads that load late and push the page down are being fixed too. When the height of a slot is reserved in advance, text and buttons stop jumping while you read.

On a narrow phone screen the same ad feels much larger. Narrow layouts get fewer slots and reworked spacing, and that pass is being done one tool at a time rather than all at once.

Personalized ads can be turned off

Google and its partners may use cookies while serving these ads. That is what makes an ad look related to pages you opened earlier.

Turning personalized ads off in Google Ads settings replaces interest-based ads with generic ones. The preference is stored with your Google account and browser, not with ROBERIN, and it does not change how the tools work.

Tell me when an ad gets in the way

If an ad covers a button, hides a result, or keeps the page shifting, that is something to fix. Send it through the contact page.

A page URL helps, and so does knowing whether you were on a phone or a computer and which browser you used. Ads pay for this site, so the least I can do is keep moving them out of your way.
