Supplement cost guide
Supplement prices are easier to compare when you convert the bottle price into daily cost
The Health Supplement Cost Calculator puts product price, total quantity, serving amount, and intake frequency on the same basis. It shows daily cost, monthly cost, yearly cost, and supply length, and the comparison list helps you see which saved product has the lowest monthly cost.
The tool flows from one product to a comparison list
Start by calculating one product. Add only the results you want to keep, then compare multiple supplements by monthly cost. The screen reads in the same order: enter conditions, calculate cost, review the result, then add it to the comparison list.
- Enter the supplement name. It does not change the math, but it identifies the product in the result and comparison list.
- Set the total quantity and unit. You can use count units such as tablets, capsules, or sachets, or volume and weight units such as mL and g.
- Enter the product price and serving amount. Price should be the actual checkout amount; serving amount is what you take each time.
- Choose intake frequency and calculate. Daily, twice daily, weekly, and every-other-day patterns are converted into an average daily amount.
- If the result looks right, add it to the comparison list. Save, load, and export are for reviewing several products later.
Quantity and intake frequency change the monthly number
A product with the same price can cost more or less per month depending on how many units it contains and how many you take. Use the actual price you pay, not only the list price, if you want a budget number closer to reality.
Supplement name
Use a name you can recognize later, such as Vitamin D3, omega-3, or probiotic.
Total quantity
The total count, volume, or weight in the package. Changing the unit also changes the unit chip beside the serving amount.
Product price
The actual amount you pay. Decide once whether shipping or discounts are included, then use the same rule across products.
Intake pattern
Serving amount and frequency work together. Twice a day means two daily servings; once a week is averaged as 1/7 serving per day.
Monthly cost comes from daily cost multiplied by the average month length
The calculator divides product price by total quantity to get cost per unit, then multiplies it by the daily intake amount. Monthly cost uses 30.44 days, yearly cost uses 365 days, and displayed amounts are rounded to the selected currency.
Cost calculation is not a health recommendation
This tool converts price and intake pattern into budget numbers. It does not evaluate effectiveness, recommended dosage, ingredient quality, or whether a supplement is right for you.
A 120-capsule omega-3 bottle reads differently as a monthly cost
For example, if a 120-capsule omega-3 bottle costs $25.00 and you take 2 capsules every day, one capsule costs about $0.21. Daily cost is about $0.42, and monthly cost is about $12.68.
When you add more products with the same method, total monthly, total yearly, daily average, and lowest monthly cost update together. Lowest monthly means cheaper in this list, not better quality or stronger ingredients.
Discounts and serving changes should be applied consistently
Subscriptions, bundles, shipping, and points can change what you really pay. When you compare products, use the same pricing rule for every item so the monthly difference stays meaningful.
- If the label serving size differs from how you actually take the product, enter your real serving amount.
- If you include shipping, coupons, or loyalty points for one item, apply the same rule to the others.
- Weekly or every-other-day schedules are useful averages, but they may not match the exact payment in a specific month.
- If you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or take medication, check suitability with a professional before focusing on cost.
