Writing a feeling down is different from storing it

The Emotion Trash Bin is not a message to send to someone else. It is a small place to put a thought on the screen and then clear it. The current tool has a large text box, a discard button, a write-again button, a short support message, and a local counter for how many times you have cleared the box.

Start by writing the thing that is still sitting in your head

You do not need a polished paragraph. The screen flow is simply: write, discard, and write again if another thought remains.

  1. Write the feeling and the reason in the text box. Put down the annoying sentence, the stressful event, or the thought that keeps replaying. One or two plain sentences are enough.
  2. Use Shift+Enter when you need a line break. Pressing Enter by itself triggers the discard action in the text box.
  3. Press Discard feeling to clear the text. After a short clearing state, the box becomes empty and a support message appears.
  4. Use Write again for the next thought. This tool works better as a small release, not as a place to solve everything at once.

Know what the tool keeps and what it does not keep

The important line is the storage line. Your typed text is used to clear the box and show a support message. The page keeps only a local count of discard actions.

Write what is weighing on you

This is the large text box. It can hold stress, anger, a sentence you keep replaying, or any short private note.

The Emotion Trash Bin does not calculate money, scores, or mental-health status. It checks whether the box is empty, clears the text, increases the counter, and shows a localized message.

Empty input check

If the box is empty, the tool asks you to write something first and does not run the discard action.

Clear the text

If text is present, a short clearing state appears, then the text box is emptied and a completion note is shown.

Update the counter

Only the count goes up. The number does not rate the intensity of your feelings or the length of the text.

Do not read “not saved” too broadly

It means the entered text is not kept inside this tool after you clear it. It does not control someone looking at your screen, browser autofill, or the policies of a shared device. Avoid typing highly sensitive details on public or shared computers.

This tool is closer to putting one sentence down than to producing an analysis report. The example is only there to show the screen behavior.

Is the text I type saved on the server?

No. The text in the box is used for the discard action on the page and is removed from the box after you clear it. On a shared device, still check who can see the screen before you type.

Does Enter discard the text right away?

What does the counter mean?
